James Gelber

James Gelber is an American Rock and Heavy Metal recording artist/producer who has had his hand in the music industry for over 20 years. 

At an early age James started his musical journey, learning how to play guitar from his two older brothers, William and Ven. This ignited his passion for music and prompted his unrelenting pursuit of a career in music.

In high school he joined his first band, playing bass. Soon after, he would form his own original bands. Though most of the music he was playing was heavy/thrash metal, Gelber always had a love and respect for all genres of music. 

After running sound for years at a local venue he began to tour with the Las Vegas based heavy metal band, Hemlock. On lead guitar with Hemlock he would complete four world tours and open for some of the bands and artists that inspired him the most: Slipknot, Mastadon, All That Remains, Korn, and many more. 

Finally settling down in Clearwater, Florida, Gelber challenged himself with creating a rock rendition of Richard Marx's Right Here Waiting. Most recently he released his first original hit The Runaway. James is currently working on another single, to be release this summer.
